Blending notes

Reserve Mouton Cadet Graves Blanc is a blend of classic varieties: Sémillon (77%), the typical white grape variety of the Graves appellation, gives the wine its minerality. Sauvignon Blanc (19%) brings fresh, fruity and floral aromas and Muscadelle (4%) which gives freshness.

Tasting notes

Aspect: A glittering pale yellow with a slightly greenish tint.

Nose: After an initial impression of minerality (flint), the nose opens up on fresh citrus fruit notes, especially grapefruit, going on to develop typical aromas of Sauvignon (box) and Sémillon (ripe apricot).

Palate: The wine is fresh and stylish on the attack, with a distinctively flinty, mineral cast, followed by all the complexity of the fruit found on the nose: citrus fruit, box and yellow fruit. The finish lingers on a mineral underpinning which goes on and on.
