Ingredients

  • 150g figs
  • Half a baguette
  • 70g foie gras
  • Pink peppercorns

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven in grill mode.
  2. Cut the baguette into slices. Place them in the oven for a short time to brown the bread.
  3. Finely slice the foie gras and the figs.
  4. Place a slice of foie gras and a slice of fig on each slice of bread, add a few pink peppercorns and serve.

The Chef's twist

You can replace the baguette with slices of gingerbread from your local baker. The spices go wonderfully well with the foie gras!
