Aspect 
Intense ruby red with a slight crimson hue.
Nose The nose opens on black fruit aromas mingled with subtle saffron notes, then goes on with airing to develop generous black cherry aromas set off by a hint of cardamom.
Palate A fresh attack on the black fruit notes found on the nose (black cherry, blackcurrant) leads into a highly elegant mid-palate that reveals the smoothness of the tannins before giving way to a finish on delicate mild spice notes such as nutmeg and saffron, lifted by a succulent return of black fruit flavours.
