Smoked salmon toast

  • 3 tbsp cream cheese with herbs
  • 3 slices smoked salmon
  • 2 slices farmhouse bread
  • ½ lemon
  • 3 radishes
  • ½ red onion
  • 3 sprigs of chive
  • Salt and pepper


  1. Wash and trim the radishes and peel half a red onion. Cut the radishes and onion into thin slices.
  2. Cut thick slices of farmhouse bread and toast them.
  3. Let them cool then spread them with the cream cheese and herbs.
  4. Cut the smoked salmon into pieces, place them on the toast and drizzle with lemon juice.
  5. Place the thin slices of radish and red onion on the salmon.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped chive, a pinch of salt and some fresh-ground black pepper, and it’s ready to go!

The Chef's twist

Don’t toast your bread first. Carry out the recipe and fold over the bread to make a sandwich. Toast in a panini press for a delicious sandwich that is crunchy on the outside and soft inside.
