Aspect: A glittering garnet red with a slight crimson hue.

Nose: The nose opens on aromas of blackcurrant and blackberry, then goes on with airing to express attractive mocha and black pepper notes sustained by lingering black fruit.

Palate: From a smooth and robust attack on nicely mature tannins, the mid-palate offers a pleasant mixture of black fruit (blackcurrant, Burlat cherry) and vanilla flavours, developing mocha notes on the finish.

Duck cottage pie, rack of lamb with herbs, creamy cep mushroom soup.
