Tasting notes

Aspect: An intense crimson with a slight garnet hue.

Nose: The nose is very subtle, opening on notes of spice then going on with airing to reveal prominent ripe fruit aromas such as blackberry and blackcurrant, accompanied by a hint of vanilla.

Palate: A supple and flavourful attack on spice and ripe black fruit flavours leads into a delicate and round mid-palate, while the finish is underpinned by smooth tannins with spice and mocha notes.

Prime rib, lamb shoulder, duck magret with green paper sauce.
